Kristi Leskinen and Jill Kintner play scrabble in ESPN Magazine’s May issue
What happens when you handpick nine action-sports athletes, give them a scrabble board and let them play with their own set of words?
The game scrabble, the twist, each athlete reached into the bag and drew seven tiles. He or she then played a word that met one of two criteria. 1) The word in some way already relates to action sports, or 2) the athlete invented the word and assigned it an action-sports definition.
