MakeItPro, the interactive sports destination and social resource for athletes, coaches, fans and parents worldwide today announced that female skateboarding champion Lauren Perkins will appear on MakeItPro TV for an exclusive 30-minute interview on Wednesday, December 9th.

The online broadcast scheduled for 5:00 p.m. PST is free, but attendees can only view the interview and interact with Perkins by signing-in at Lauren Perkins is one of skateboarding’s top athletes, taking first place at last year’s S3 Super Girl Jam competition. Perkins is also an XGames medalist and has appeared in various TV and movie roles.

About Lauren Perkins

Lauren Perkins is one of the top female skateboarders in the world. Lauren started skating at the young age of 7 after asking her mom for a skateboard when a skatepark was built near her home. At the age of 10, Lauren entered her first contest in Oceanside, CA, where she was the only girl to compete with over 20 guys. In 2000, Lauren became the youngest girl to compete at the All Girls Skate Jam. She took home 2nd place along with the attention of the head of Vans Pewee team. Lauren joined the team and by the age of 12, took 1st at the Gravity Games amateur contest, beating out 45 boys. 2002 proved to be a career breaking year for Lauren. She took an impressive 1st place win at the All Girls Skate Jam in her home town of Huntington Beach, CA. She competed against some of skateboarding top riders and her favorite pros.
