SARAH HASKINS REPEATS AT LIFE TIME FITNESS TRIATHLON
USA Triathlon National Team member and Olympian Sarah Haskins repeated on Saturday as the 2010 female champion at the Life Time Fitness Triathlon. Competing against an amazing field of world elite professionals on the event’s International-distance course, Haskins won the women’s division. She covered the course in 2 hours, 3 minutes, 49 seconds to win by nearly two minutes. She exited the water a minute behind, but had the top splits on the bike and run to earn the victory. Haskins closed with a 36:39 10k run. “I am excited to have defended my title at the Life Time Fitness Race to the Toyota Cup. Life Time Fitness is a special race to me, as it is my adopted hometown since my husband is a Minnesota native. A win is never easy, so it is important to appreciate the moment and continue to work hard towards achieving my next racing goal,” said Haskins. Based on Saturday’s finish, Haskins emerged as point leader in the 2010 Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series Race to the Toyota Cup. The event was second to the six races that comprise the Series.
