Summer 2013 Marketing Internship
ABOUT THE MARKETING INTERNSHIP
The summer internship program at Stanton & Company will provide candidates with hands-on experience in brand marketing. This is a great opportunity for the passionate, active and focused undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in a career in marketing or sports/lifestyle brand marketing. Throughout the course of the internship, you will work closely with our PR and marketing teams and assist in a variety of challenging and interesting projects. Duties will include planning and execution of promotional campaigns, market research, ideation, brainstorming as well as general office support.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must receive college credit and work a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently
- Professional demeanor

Summer 2013 Public Relations Internship
ABOUT THE PR INTERNSHIP
The summer internship program at Stanton & Company will provide candidates with hands-on experience in Public Relations. This is a great opportunity for the passionate, active and focused undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in a career PR. Throughout the course of the internship, you will work closely with our PR and marketing teams and assist in a variety of challenging and interesting projects. Duties will include planning and execution of multiple events, generating/pitching new ideas for client events/campaigns/PR opportunities, general PR for clients, photo/bio editing, as well as general office duties and administrative services.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must receive college credit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems independently

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track online/magazine clips
- Help maintain product inventory
- Work on media activation
- Create and send press releases and client pitches to media
- Scan magazines and prepare press clips
- Assist in administrative tasks
- Work with company and client’s social media and marketing partnerships

Summer 2013 Accounting Internship
ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP
The summer internship program at Stanton & Company will provide candidates with hands-on experience in accounting. This is a great opportunity for the passionate, active and focused undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in a career in accounting or finance. Throughout the course of the internship, you will work closely with our financial controller and assist in a variety of challenging and interesting projects. The primary responsibility will be internal financial reporting.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must receive college credit
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Extensive experience in accounting software systems required
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, thorough, and organized
- Strong verbal, written and organizational communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aid in the daily processes and transactions of the company from new client set up to cash reconciliations and A/R confirmations
- Assist in the preparation of internal reports and reviews for accuracy and completeness

Graphic Design Internship
ABOUT THE GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP
Stanton & Company, a full-service marketing and PR agency, is looking to provide first-hand experience to a Graphic Design student seeking the opportunity to be immersed in the world of sports and lifestyle marketing.
The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the Marketing team in creating a wide range of print, online and presentation graphics including; flyers, in-store signage, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and a variety of other design materials. The Graphic Design Intern will also assist in the development of websites and video graphics. Graphic design admin duties are also part of this position.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Strong composition and typography skills
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (CS5 or up) and PowerPoint
- Proficient on both a MAC and PC
- Great organization skills with an eye for attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to be proactive and work independently
- Extremely positive attitude and high energy level
- Knowledge of printing and web processes and production standards is a plus
- Knowledge of Keynote, After Effects, Flash or video editing a plus
