AFTER WEEKS OF DIFFERENT CHALLENGES, THE SUPERSTARS CHAMPION IS CROWNED, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC’S “THE SUPERSTARS”
“Episode 106” — “The Superstars,” based on ABC’s classic “Wide World of Sports” series of the same name, teams eight professional athletes and eight celebrities at the spectacular Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas to compete for the title of The Superstars Champion. “The Superstars” airs TUESDAY, AUGUST 4 (8:00-9:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
KAYAK PURSUIT
Paddles will fly as each team paddles in tandem kayaks around a course in the lagoon. Once a team hears “go,” it will race to catch the teams in front of it.
TUG-O-WAR
Strength and endurance are put to the test as teams will have a chance to pull three sunken buoys onto shore from the lagoon, with each being of different weight. The team to get its buoys across the line first wins.
TRIATHLON – ARCH TO TRIUMPH
There are three legs – first, one team member will start from the Royal Towers arch and run through the lagoon pool to the bridge. Once there, he or she will tag a teammate who will jump off the bridge, swim to shore and navigate a beach rally. Both teammates will then meet up in the transition area, grab a paddleboard and get across the lagoon to the finish line. The first team that crosses earns its spot to battle it out with the remaining team in the obstacle course to crown The Superstars Champion!
