Parents Magazine features Pure Bar and SpaRitual
Energy Bars: No doubt they’re convenient but “energy” is code for calories, mostly in the form of refined grains and added sweeteners. Manufacturers are required to list sugar first if a products contains more of it than any other ingredient. To get around that rule, some companies use several difference sources of sugar, so be sure to read through the whole ingredient list.
Smart Swap: If you still want a store-bought bar, look for one that are fruit or nut based such as Pure Organic.
Sunflower Power: Thanks to how well it hydrates, sunflower oil is coming cropping up all over the beauty aisle.
