During a star-studded night at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA, Jamie Anderson, claimed her 4th ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete. Jamie was nominated for the award along with fellow snowboarder, Chloe Kim, and beat out the talented field because of her incredible winter.
Highlights from Jamie’s season included slopestyle gold at the X Games Aspen, X Games Norway, the Burton US Open, and at the US Snowboard Championships in China, along with earning the top spot on the World Snowboard Tour. Aside from having a heavy contest season, Jamie also had the chance to film with Full Moon Films at Baldface Lodge in British Columbia, and went heli-boarding for the first time in Haines, Alaska.

Following her win, Jamie took to her instagram to voice her excitement and commented, “So thankful on so many levels! I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love, support & encouragement of my family, friends & of course my sponsors! Thanks for making my dreams a reality! Unbelievably grateful.”
Mark McMorris was nominated for Best Male Action Sports Athlete, but despite Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweet that urged fans to vote for McMo, the award went to Ryan Dungy.
