In the wake of scandals that have rocked the culinary world, March’s National Women’s History month serves as an important reminder that women in the restaurant industry still have a long way to go in terms of gender equality.  Despite the long association between women and the kitchen, studies show it is less likely for a women to be hired as a head chef than as a CEO.
