Behind the Scenes with S&Co

There’s no better way to get into the holiday spirit than by curling up on the couch and watching a heartwarming Christmas movie! From cliche holiday rom-coms to the classic Christmas specials, there seems to be no end of options! S&Co is here with the best holiday movie recommendations. So whether you’re an It’s A Wonderful Life or Love Actually aficionado, grab some popcorn and hot chocolate – and cozy up!

Nicole Callas: Love Actually is a classic – every year I watch it early in the Christmas season to get in the spirit; never fails to make me have all the Xmas feels!

Jessica Hofmann: It’s hard for me to pick/recommend my favorite Christmas movie because I really like them all. But I will say, the movie that brings me the most nostalgia is definitely the Claymation Rudolph movie. I loved that movie as a child and always watched it during the holiday season. I don’t watch it every year because it can be tough to find. But when I do get to watch it, it always puts me in the best Christmas mood.

Mikaela Hong: My favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It reminds me of my childhood and I love the storyline of a villain turned hero.

Maddie Kim: My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. It’s my mom’s favorite, so of course, it became mine as well!

Olivia Levis: This is tough, but I have to go with the claymation classic,  Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, all the childhood mems.

Lauren Nelson: The Holiday

Lauren Newhouse: The Holiday

Denege Prudhomme: How can I pick a favorite Christmas movie when there are so many great ones! I would say my all time favorite is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation! Elf comes in a strong second and then I have my traditional Holiday movies that I watch at least two or three times during the season including Home Alone, Home Alone 2, The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3, The Holiday, Four Christmases, The Family Stone and then of course all of the Countdown to Christmas movies on Hallmark and Lifetime! Honestly, I can’t get enough.. I could watch them year round! Thank God for Christmas in July 🙂
