Following Jamie Anderson
\”following Jamie Anderson\” A BEHIND THE SCENES RIDE WITH ANDERSON AT THE NZ OPEN.
Jamie Anderson made her debut comeback at the NZ Open last weekend, after spending the summer and spring rehabbing two serious injuries suffered last season. The South Lake Tahoe rider-who, at 19 has yet to reach the legal drinking age yet has been a dominating competitor for years-broke her pelvis back in January at the European Open, and then ruptured her spleen at the US Open in March.
But this past weekend in Cardrona, she showed no signs these injuries ever happened, stepping into the heaviest event New Zealand has ever seen, in terms of riders who showed up, and landed first place in slopestyle. Check this TTR video that follows Anderson on the day of the competition and see how for her, it’s back to business as usual.
