Branagh Wins Two AVP Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The AVP released its 2015 Tour awards late Wednesday night, Oct. 28, at a ceremony in Newport Beach, Calif. Olympic hopefuls John Hyden and Tri Bourne were named the men’s Team of the Year.

End-of-season awards were given based on statistics, player votes and points earned during the 2015 Tour. The AVP also honored the Tour’s official DJ, Jeremy “DJ Roueche” Roueche, with the AVP’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on the Tour during the past 12 years.

April Ross added to her award list for the 2015 season, earning best server and the women’s Most Valuable Player – alongside John Mayer for the men.

Nicole Branagh took home the award for Best Offensive Player and Team of the Year for her pairing with Jenny Kropp.
