Meet the S&Co Summer Interns
S&Co is excited to announce the arrival of our 2016 Summer Intern Team! This diverse group (truly, from New York to Los Angeles) adds a special flair to the office, and we know you’ll love them as much as we already do! Take a second to learn about the team behind the scenes!
ALLIE WEBER
Why She’s Awesome: As a huge sports fan, Allie followed her passions in college. She became the first female football manager for the Tar Heels, as well as a ticketing intern for the athletic department. She will graduate with honors in December 2016, having completed a thesis on the career paths of athletic directors. Before S&Co, she interned in the Office of the CEO at Under Armour, and looks forward to her time this summer at Stanton & Company!

What is Your Favorite Product/Athlete S&Co represents? Hilary Knight because of her dedication to celebrating the woman athlete on and off the ice.
Why S&Co this summer? Amy Stanton embodies everything I hope to be in my life: successful, caring, kind, and most importantly, she never gave up her femininity to do it. She is a wonderful mentor and example that women can be successful and respected in the sports business world, and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to learn from one of the best!
CARA LOSITO
Why She’s Awesome: Last summer Cara worked at the Special Olympics World Games, which were held in Los Angeles. She worked directly with Guest Services and interacted with many of the sponsors distributing their products. She enjoyed her experience so much, she has now set her sights on PR!

What is Your Favorite Product/Athlete S&Co represents? My favorite product is the Pure Organic Chocolate Brownie Bar. I eat one almost every day!
Why S&Co this summer? I was interested in learning more about the PR world and interested in the health and athletic-based clients S&Co reps!
HANNAH HOLMES
Why She’s Awesome: Hannah has worked a variety of jobs from coaching volleyball summer camps, to clerical work for her dad’s real estate consulting company and an internship at a financial management firm. As a college volleyball player, she has mastered the difficult balance of training in the summer, while maintaining a job that will help prepare her for future after college and playing sports.

Favorite Product/Athlete S&Co represents? I’m excited about working with Sambazon because I love acai and eat an acai bowl almost every single day! I love their story and am excited to see how their business continues to grow.
Why S&Co this summer? I am excited to be at Stanton & Company because the world of PR for both products and athletes seemed very intriguing to me. One day I hope to be a sports agent, so I know the skills that I am learning this summer will greatly help me in that endeavor. I also love that Stanton & Company is all women, because the sports industry especially, is such a male-dominated environment, so it’s awesome to see so many women excelling in this line of work.
JENNA MERCHANT
Why She’s Awesome: As a strategic communications major, Jenna has taken a wide variety of different communications courses learning about writing, recording, researching, editing, filming and coding. Her classes have been interactive and project-based and have given her great hands-on experience and extensive knowledge about the field of communications. She’s also a member of her school’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter.

Favorite Product/Athlete S&Co represents? I’m a big fan of the Pure bars and have been for a long time so I was excited to see that S&Co represents that brand! I’m also excited about working on Sambazon because I’ve heard really great things about their mission.
Why S&Co this summer? I’ve been considering moving to LA after college for a while now and have been interested in pursuing a career in public relations since I began college. It was sort of a perfect fit that I get to try out LA while getting some experience in public relations this summer with S&Co.
KAREY CAVANEY
Why She’s Awesome: Before S&Co, Karey interned at Full Picture, an entertainment PR firm with offices in West Hollywood and NYC. At Full Picture, she worked primarily with the GLAAD Awards, Hakkasan Group, Victoria’s Secret Pink, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Her duties included running the red carpet, event planning, press clipping, pitching, and other various office tasks.

Fun Fact: I was born on Super Bowl Sunday and was dressed as a Green Bay Packers cheerleader for Halloween for three years in a row (ages 2-4).
Favorite Product/Athlete S&Co represents? I love working on Sambazon and SpaRitual projects. I find the science behind Enzymedica’s products fascinating and I also enjoy all the body care products from SpaRitual. I have the Yuzu Rose Body Butter and it is amazing!
Why S&Co this summer? I wanted an internship that would serve as a gateway to the Sports Industry. S&Co’s long list of athletes, as well as health, beauty and fitness brands really sold the company to me.
