Happy May!
I just returned from one of my favorite places on earth: Tulum, Mexico.
Aside from being breathtakingly beautiful with incredible beaches, crystal clear water and magical ruins and cenotes, it’s a very spiritual and mystical place.
I was there for a wonderful Summit event with 500 interesting entrepreneurs, changemakers, thought-leaders and more. A very special group of people that included some of my dearest friends. Truthfully, I wish I were still there as the trip came and went and we had a big event right after so it wasn’t exactly a moment of decompression but gratefully, I was able to have a very special experience and a number of unforgettable moments that took my breath away.
One of my favorite parts of Summit is the unique, thought-provoking speakers and content. A few people worth highlighting for future reference (I, too, will be spending more time researching them and following their work):
There was a session about Hacking Anxiety, Depression, and Consciousness with Philosopher Jason Silva and Neurohacker Daniel Schmachtenberger. Both Jason and Daniel are exceptional.
I had the pleasure of having dinner with Grandmother Flordemayo and hearing her speak (and had a Mayan Cosmic reading which of course I loved!)
My favorite session of all was with New York Times Modern Love editor Daniel Jones talking about what he’s learned after reading 80,000+ essays on love. He told us this story which completely rocked my world (and made me sob):Â https://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/13/fashion/13love.html
So much more magic over the course of these three days. I’m grateful to the amazing Summit team that puts these events together and inspires us all. And to the community for the love, support and expansiveness shared.
Wishing you all a wonderful month and hoping this spring brings many happy new beginnings.
xx
