Behind the Scenes with S&Co
Now that summer is sadly coming to a close, the S&Co team reflects on their favorite summer memory.
Jessica Hofmann: I loved going to the Phish concert with my friends and sister!
Mikaela Hong: My favorite memory from this summer was adopting my puppy Leo!
Kelsey Kearns: I can’t believe summer is over (although in LA, is it ever really over?) I had an amazing summer filled with a lot of out of town visitors, beach days and vacations. My favorite summer memory this year was Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. The festival was stacked with so many amazing artists including the Weeknd, Janet Jacket, Florence + the Machine, Bon Iver and more! My favorite of the weekend was ODESZA and a new discovery, Tash Sultana – she was amazing and if you aren’t familiar with her, check her out!
Maddie Kim: I went to Seattle and Vancouver with my college roommate Daphne as our last adventure together before I moved to LA and she started work in NYC. In typical Daphne fashion, we walked everywhere, which allowed me to really get to know both cities. Our days were filled with good food, sore feet, singing, and lots of laughter. It was a perfect way to celebrate our new life chapters while also reminiscing on our past.
Lauren Nelson: My favorite memory this summer was getting a brand new used car! #lovemyhonda
Lauren Newhouse: Spending the day jet skiing in Lake Tahoe
Denege Prudhomme: It’s so hard to pick a favorite memory as I had such a great summer, filled with lots of great trips and memories. I would have to say that Italy was the most amazing trip. We went to Rome, Florence and Venice and had the best time: the history, the culture and the food and wine! Rome and Florence had so much great history and Venice was beyond magical. It would be hard to pick my favorite city on the trip, they each had their own amazing qualities.
Amy Stanton:Â I loved my summers at John Gardiner’s Tennis Ranch in Carmel Valley, CA. it was a three-week sleepaway and first I went as a camper for a few years and then as a counselor (and eventually head counselor) for another few years. Some of my favorite memories of all time!
