Lydia Jacoby is returning to the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and was featured in an article discussing her previous victory at the 2021 Tokyo Aquatics Centre. Her performance in the hundred-meter breaststroke final resulted in a winning time of 1:04.95. “I had fully gone into that race thinking I was in contention for a medal, but I never imagined that it would be a gold medal,” Jacoby says.
