U.S. SKI TEAM JOINS FORCES WITH THE CENTURY COUNCIL TO HOST FIRST EVER KIDS DAY DURING THE WINTER GAMES!

The U.S. Ski Team and The Century Council, a national not-for-profit funded by distillers dedicated to eliminating drunk driving and underage drinking, will host the first ever Kid’s Day event during the Winter Games in Whistler on Tuesday, February 23rd from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The event will be held at the Spyder U.S. Ski Team House, located at Skiis & Biikes Snowcovers in Whistler Village near Medals Plaza.

Kid’s Day will be promoting AskListenLearn and its new interactive game for kids. The event will also help introduce families to the program and the game, as well as create an opportunity for them to meet Olympic Athletes. Cross Country Ski Olympians, Kikkan Randall and Andy Newell will be on site signing autographs and interacting with guests.

“The Olympic Games create a powerful platform for young people to learn about the importance of saying “yes” to a healthy lifestyle and “no” to underage drinking”, said Ralph Blackman, President & CEO of The Century Council.
