Sarah Haskins Claims Final Olympic Triathlon Spot
On Sunday, Sarah’s 6th place finish at the Hy-Vee triathlon secured her spot on the 2008 Olympic Team. With 2nd place finishes in the two past Olympic qualifiers, Sarah was favored for the Olympic spot, but her strong performance Sunday sealed the deal. After two years of incredible consistency and many podiums, Sarah can now breathe a sigh of relief sigh of relief – her dream of participating in the Olympics will finally come true. And after her 2nd place finish in the World Championships two weeks ago, it’s clear that Sarah is capable of reaching the podium in Beijing.
