Glitter: Give your Manicure the Midas Touch
All that glitters is gold – No, really. Even silver polish is infused with gold this season. For your next mani, you gotta go for it; it’s simply a question of how much. Single out an accent nail, dress up a neutral with a gold, flecked top coat, or embrace the trend full on with OTT glitz.
No edward scissorhands – Nail shape matters. You don’t want tacky knifelike talons. File each nail into a squoval (square meets oval) – its tasteful and less chip prone.
One more thing – If shiny gold feels a little too “night out” use a butter to gently dull the finish. Matte is where it’s at!
