Maddie Musselman

Maddie Musselman is two-time Olympic gold medalist and member of the U.S Water Polo team. A lover of the water, Maddie started swimming at 5 and began water polo at 8. She started Olympic development program in 7th grade and solely committed to water polo. As a high school freshman, Maddie traveled to Argentina representing Team USA, which was her first tournament with the U.S. National Team. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Maddie was named the Olympic tournament MVP after leading the team with 18 goals. Known for her speed and agility in the water, Maddie was also named Tournament MVP at the 2021 FINA World League Super Final in Athens, 2019 FINA World League Super Final and at the 2017 FINA World Championships. Maddie attends UCLA, where she led the Bruins with 61 goals during the 2019 season and was named 1st Team All-American. During the 2018 season, Maddie scored 53 goals and was named 1st Team All-MPSF. Her freshmen year, she was named the 2017 MPSF Newcomer of the Year scoring a freshman record 69 goals. Maddie is currently studying physiology at UCLA and plans to attend medical school to become a pediatrician.
