Ryan Frederick

Ryan Frederick is the CEO of SmartLiving360, a consulting and real estate development firm that specializes in housing and healthy aging. Having worked in the field for over fifteen years, Ryan is a recognized leader on the intersection of place and longevity. This year, he is releasing his first book, Right Place, Right Time: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Home for the Second Half of Life (John Hopkins University Press, October 5 2021).
After earning his MBA from Stanford Business School, Ryan pivoted to focus on creating innovative ways to help folks live longer. He worked with the CEO of Sunrise Senior Living, managing housing investments, where he later transitioned to Erickson Senior Living, where he helped with strategic planning.
In 2021, Ryan began his consulting firm where he counsels groups across the country and internationally, working with CEOs and Executives in housing, multi-family developments, senior living, etc. and has affectively helped influence the way these companies develop and manage housing today. Ryan aims to provide clients and consumers with the tools to evaluate their living situation, ensuring they consider all the necessary factors to make sound decisions that optimize current and future well-being.
Ryan serves on the National Advisory Board of the John Hopkins University of Nursing, a Fellow of Encore Public Voices, and was a member of the Advisory Council of the Bipartisan Policy Center Health and Housing Task Force.
