Just Say Om: Yoga and Dinner at Province
The West Loop’s Province is already known for its eco-friendly practices (to say nothing of chef/owner’s Randy Zweiban‘s delicious Latin-inspired food).
But now the restaurant takes that theme even further by hosting wellness expert and yoga instructor David Romanelli, known as Yeah Dave, for a one-hour vinyasa yoga class focused on tastes, sounds and body messages on March 8 and 9. After that you’ll be treated to a five-course dinner with wine pairings-go head, you’ve earned it-that’ll include dishes such as spiced seared Hawaiian tuna, paprika-rubbed farm-raised cobia with olive smash potatoes and grilled tenderloin with root vegetable hash ($95).
Part of a national tour, Jam Sessions: Yoga for Foodies aims to showcase the talents of chefs while embracing the art of food as a gateway to the present moment. Sounds good to us, as does the dessert of chocolate parfait with chocolate crème, crunch and sorbet.
