Pure Bar, Great Tasting Bar Made With Real Fruit And All Natural Ingredients
Veronica Bosgraaf is just like every mom, concerned about her children’s well being and tries to provide only the best for her family. She currently has a dual role as what can be described as a “momprenuer”. She is the creator and founder of Pure Bar.
One night at the dinner table, her youngest daughter, 6 years old at the time, declared herself a vegetarian. Veronica quickly became frustrated in available products to ensure her daughter and her family received enough protein and other nutrients necessary. They also had to be convenient enough to throw in a lunch box.
She told me that one day while making a gluten free pie crust from almonds and other raw natural ingredients, she stumbled upon the foundation of the Pure Bar. She began to play around with raw, organic, vegetarian ingredients until she produced her first Pure Bar. Her children and family were and are her biggest fans. Following a true “momprenuer” path, she found a small “mom & pop” producer in the west to make her Pure Bars. Eventually, they were recognized by a larger mid-western grocery chain and the rest is history as they say.
Her bars are packed with nutrients are gluten free, raw, vegan and kosher. A bar packs 7 grams of protein along with a healthy dose of antioxidants and other important nutrients. My family and I got to sample the bars and my first comment was that they actually tasted like the fruit and nuts that were in the title. My second comment was how moist they are – not like some other “nutrition” bars out there. It was not like trying to chew sawdust mixed with a fruit like substance. My third comment was “mmm…” Pure Bar tastes delicious. My kids and husband are also big fans. They were packed in lunches and eaten as a morning snack until they were all gone.
I sampled all of the flavors and loved them all. Pure Bar flavors are Apple Cinnamon, Cherry Cashew, Chocolate Brownie, Cranberry Orange, Trail Mix and Wild Blueberry. As I tasted them and even as I write this, I cannot single out a favorite. The are all truly delicious.
